  14. Just a hint if you do not know which application a folder
  15. belongs to, select the icon in ResEdit and choose the get
  16. resource info command under the Resource menu.

  18. Trouble Shooting
  19. ================
  20. Why does the blue shadow of my folder icons seem to vanish once you paste them into a get info window ????
  21.  
  22. This results  when an insensitive mask of the icon is taken leaving the light blue shadow hidden so to speak.  Because of this you need to:

  24.  1) GO into ResEdit & choose the open command
  25.  2) LOCATE & GO into the folder to which you pasted the customized          
  26.     icon,there should be a file named 'Icon' (this file contains the 
  27.     customized folder icon) 
  28.  3) OPEN this file.          
  29.  4) DOUBLE-CLICK the icl8 icon & then the folder icon. A drawing                     
  30.     window should appear.
  31.  5) MAKE a new mask for the folder icon.
  32.  6) SAVE your work when you close the file.
  33.  7) REBUILD your desktop to see the results.
